    • SPEAKERS
      • We are looking for several different kinds of speakers.
      • Professional speakers who are typically experts in a homeschooling area and may also be promoting their business.
      • Amateur speakers who are typically experienced homeschoolers with expertise/passion in a particular area.  Approved speakers attending the Expo with their families receive a discount on their Expo registration.
      • Artists, crafters, technical geeks, etc. who would like to share a hands-on project in a workshop type environment.  Approved workshop leaders attending the Expo with their families receive a discount on their Expo registration.

       

    • VENDORS
      • The business rate is $150 per table for 2 days (Saturday and Sunday).  Floor space (if needed) is approximately 8′ x 10′.  Larger businesses may reserve multiple tables to enlarge their area.
      • Vendors also receive a 15% discount on program advertising and 50% discount on literature bag advertising.
      • Sponsorship opportunities are also available which include placing your business name/logo on all Expo advertising including our flyers, website, literature bags, programs, signage etc.  Please e-mail advertising@californiahomeschool.net regarding sponsorship.

       

    • ADVERTISERS
      • Ads in our Expo program book range from $40 for a 1/4 page ad to $145 for a full page ad.
      • We will put your flyer and/or other advertising item in our literature bags for $25 (approved vendors, non-profits and homeschool/park groups) or $50 (business).  Each family registered for the Expo receives a literature bag.
      • Sponsorship opportunities are also available which include placing your business name/logo on all Expo advertising including our flyers, website, literature bags, programs, signage etc.  Please e-mail advertising@californiahomeschool.net regarding sponsorship.

Vendor cancellation policy

Full Refunds – CHN must receive a written request no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the conference (May 19, 2014). Contact us at expovendors@californiahomeschool.net

No Refunds – After May 19, 2014.
Requests for refunds to CHN that are received after listed date above will not be eligible for a refund.

We will publish your biography and session descriptions on our website as we receive your input - so get them in early please!

Please fill out a form for each session you are presenting. If you are presenting multiple sessions, you need supply your bio and photo only once. If you are presenting a session that has two speakers, each speaker should fill out a form separately. (Session description, schedule, and a/v information needed on only one of the forms.) If you are hosting a session with a panel of speakers, please provide the names of the panel speakers (if known) in the session description, but provide a bio and photo for the session host only.

* Speaker Photo - Please upload a photo. JPG (j-peg) format is preferred. A head shot is best. Your photo may be cropped for use on our website and mobile app.


* Scheduling - Every attempt will be made to honor your scheduling request. If we are not able to schedule your session as desired, we will contact you before finalizing the schedule. If you are a vendor as well, please keep in mind that the vendor hall is open on Saturday and Sunday only. Use the comments box below to note any special scheduling requests.

Speaker tables - located adjacent to the vendor hall, are available for the session period immediately following the session period you are speaking at. Speaker tables may be used for selling your products and books, passing out information, or informal discussion with Expo attendees. * Audio Visual Needs - Every attempt will be made to honor your a/v request. We have a limited number of projectors; if we are not able to provide you with a projector, we will contact you. A microphone will be provided if you are scheduled to speak in a large room. Our projectors are able to connect to Windows and Apple computers. If you have any special a/v needs, please note it in the comments box below.

Note: Internet access is an additional cost to CHN and may not be available for every speaker who requests it. Mobile hot spots are not reliable at the hotel's location. We suggest that you use internet screen shots in your presentation as an alternative to direct internet. We strongly suggest that you bring a laptop instead of an i-pad, but we may be able to accomodate an i-pad as long as it is pre-coordinated.
